I offer sessions from 8am to 5pm.

I work from an office at my home in Hamilton, NZ.  I give out my address once an appointment is booked.

Individual, ACC Sensitive Claims, EAP counselling through Stratos.

I currently do not offer couples counselling.  There a many excellent therapists out there who do offer this and I would recommend you have a look here.

Yes, anyone can make an appointment or a referall.

Cash or internet banking.

I have a cancellation policy where I need 24 hours notice if you aren’t going to be able to make the session.  You will be charged the full amount of the session if you give less notice.  My time is important and as a self employed therapist it is my livelihood.  I currently have a waiting list of people who wish to see me, with short notice cancellations it is unlikely I can fill the space in time.

I charge $130 for a 1 hour session.

ACC Sensitive Claims (sexual abuse) are free.  The cost is covered by ACC if your claim is covered.

As long as your company uses the EAP service that I work for, Stratos, then you can come and see me for some short term sessions.  When you make contact with me I will need to know the name of your company.  In our first session I will let you how many sessions your are eligible for.  I will need to run you through a short questionnaire, and gain some basic  information about your work problems.

If you already have an ACC number, and your claim hasn’t been previously declined, then you can book a first appointment.  You can check out what I am like and if you think you can work with me.  I will ask some basic questions required by ACC and get the process started.

In the first session I will discuss confidentiality, and usually go through your family history

Yes I do sometimes see people on Skype.  This is more suitable for shorter term work.  And I don’t see ACC Sensitive claims clients online.

To have an online session you would need to have Skype installed, and have a camera and microphone connected.
